There are many wineries located in the Yakima Valley.There are 15 famous Washington Wineries, within a 30 mile radius of Prosser.  The long, warm summer days, cool nights and rich soil enable local farmers to grow some of the finest wine grapes in the world. 

Fragrant spring blossoms; sparkling fresh fruit ripe in the orchard; radiant colors of trees changing colors in the fall; and serene snow-covered hillsides in winter signal the changing of seasons in rural Prosser.

The Yakima Valley is one of the greatest agricultural regions in the world, with over 300 days of sunshine, a unique irrigation system and rich volcanic soil.  Delicious apples, cherries, and grapes thrive here.  In addition to the many widely recognized crops, Prosser is one of only a handful of locations worldwide where hops and currants are grown commercially.

Mount Ranier is only a 2 hour drive from Yakima Valley area.
